-CROSSWALKS: We have many crosswalks on and around campus. You MUST STOP anytime a child or adult is standing or walking in a crosswalk. Please do not ever try and drive across the crosswalk when people are there.
-We have a no smoking policy in our facility and we ask for your help in keeping our campus smoke/vape free anytime you are on school grounds.

Bus registration for the 2026-27 school year is now available to those eligible. Please go here for more information.
Registration is fully online this year and you can use the link above to begin the process. Our Registrar, Danielle Harrington, is available from 7:10am-3:20pm to support families if needed.
Registration for new students to Leander ISD began on April 1st. Please use the link above to find out more about registering for the 2026-27 school year.
Home Access Center (HAC) provides families with an online tool where they can view and update student information including grades, class schedules, and attendance records.
2025-26 STAAR TESTING CALENDAR:
April 7-16 STAAR RLA (Reading/ Language Arts) Testing Window
April 14 BHC 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students STAAR RLA, Official Make-Up Day April 15
April 14-23 STAAR Science Testing Window
April 21 BHC 5th Grade Students STAAR Science, Official Make-Up Day April 22
April 21-30 STAAR Math Testing Window
April 28 BHC 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students STAAR Math, Official Make-Up Day April 29
No visitors are allowed on campus on official testing days (Feb 3, 23, 24, April 14, 21, 28)
Testing Windows- Students will take the test on the campus official testing date or make-up test date if present on campus on these days. If absent both of these days, then parents may choose if they want their child to test on remaining days in the testing window. There is not an "opt out" option. Final assessment results will be available in Family Portals (How to access student results for parents)
Anytime your child will miss school, please send an email to Danielle Harrington at bhcattendance@leanderisd.org . All student absence notes are due within 48 hours of a student returning. Please allow 2-5 workdays for the attendance to be updated on Home Access. Also, please make sure the following information is in your email:
Student's name - first and last
Student ID (if known)
Teacher's name
Date(s) of absence
Reason for absence
Attach Dr. note from doctor, dentist etc. if applicable
