3rd, 4th & 5th graders are invited to read any of the 20 Texas Bluebonnet Books by the end of January. Remember, you must have read 5 or more books to be able to vote for your favorite one by the end of Jan. Here's some book trailers about the books.

Storybook Character Pumpkin Patch will run from Oct. 1 - 31. Families can create a pumpkins (real or fake) to look like a character out of one of their favorite storybook/chapter books. Bring it to the Library to display your favorite character!

BHC Fall Book Fair - Nov. 12 - 16 in the BHC Library, Late Night will be Nov. 15. Doors close at 7:00 pm.

Evening Hour of Code
- Dec. 5 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm Come learning computer coding with 2nd - 5th grade your student!

Jan. 8 - Mark Sandbank from the Shadow Factory will be visiting with all of the BHC students. Matt Sandbank's Shadow Factory is a traveling shadow puppetry. Sponsored by PTA & the Library.

BHC Spring Book Fair - Feb. 25 - Mar. 1, Late Night will be at the PTA Valentine Sweetheart Dance Saturday, Mar. 1. Doors close at 7:30 pm.

BHC Annual Book Swap - May 22, Students will bring donated books from home & trade them and as a result they will have "New-To-Me" Summer Reading Books! Bring One, Take One.

After School Clubs hosted by the Library

Google 1st Fall Coding Club - We will meet on Thursdays for 8 weeks. This is a free after-school club in which your student will learn to computer coding skills while having fun with friends. Spots will be open to the first 20 3rd, 4th, 5th grade BHC Bears.
